Well I changed the website to another fresh template. This will only remain as a test website!

Wow, it has been somewhat long since my last post. And yet again there is that same old excuse. I have been just busy. With the stuff I do for Gearjunkies and activities in my persoanl life … I just didn’t have anything to share other then I was being busy!

The website I am running with my two friends (www.gearjunkies.com) finally got its well deserved and due re-styling a couple of weeks ago. Instead of that old ugly look, it now has a clean and fresh look. Plus now we are writing more personal articles (original content) instead of just publishing standard press releases. It is way more fun but also way more work.

And then there were my computer problems. Not really shocking but they always appear when you DON’T need them (well do you ever actually?). So after researching, ordering and getting the new PC system (I7, Windows7 64bit) it took weeks untill I finally had everything working for me  just like the way I liked it. Finally my new PC now fits me like a glove! And just for security, if anything would go wrong in the future, I bought a laptop as well as a back-up system.

On the music front there is also not much new at the horizon. All software has been updated since I had to re-install literally everything again. Positive is that with the new system I get four cores and am running 64bit OS so speed and CPU load aren’t an issue anymore. Many of the plugins are 64bit as well as is my DAW (Steinberg Cubase 5). This means that there aren’t excuses anymore not to get back to producing.
