Since I am present on Twitter with my account I am following Matthew Davidson. How this happened I have no idea. I have no recollection of how I got to follow so many other people. But, …. I do. Matthew makes videos, music, sounds, Max patches, etc. under his alias ‘Stretta‘.

But anywho, last week I got a notice that Matthew started following me on my Soundcloud account. In return I visted his Stretta Soundcloud account. And here I found something so beautiful I have to share it with you. I started to listen to his Brood XI set (EP). A very light, soft, romantic set of tracks with a main part for piano. It reminded me of my musical heroes Sigur Ros and Wim Mertens. Listening to Brood XI gave me such a great feelin, just fantastic!

Allthough this a strict personal opinion, I would advise you to visit his Soundcloud page and take a listen to Matthews set.

Stretta – Brood XI

Already my third post on the music that I found through my interactions on Twitter. Like mentioned before, to me Twitter is a big pool of experiences. Many of which is music and people who made that music. Below are again some findings I find more then good (like great!) and definately worth checking out:

• Adriane Lake – So Beautifull – what a great track, a mixture/combo of ambient, electronica and sweet, sweet vocals!
• Ronald Jenkees – Guitar Sound – It is not my style but every time I watch this video I start rocking to it!!!!
• Sennen – Bizarre Love Triangle – Beautiful cover of one of my favorit New Order tracks
• The Found Sound Orchestra – Memorabilica – Free download this great album.
• Cinnamon Chasers – Luv Deluxe – A great video to a great dance track. Really cool! I recently bought the complete album, … awesome!
• Tiff Lacey – Show Me The Way – A beautiful small simple song. Incredible!

I just finished my entry into the Röyskopp – Tricky Tricky remix contest. I really enjoyed this one, as I enjoyed the James Yuill remix. It is very cool to have the opportunity to work with high quality vocals.

I have mentioned before that Twitter is like a big pool of unlimited information. Many people share their like and dislikes on so many subjects. My personal favorit is when people share their love for music. I LOVE music. For me it is exciting to find new artists recommended by other Twitter members. Yes, yes. This turns out to be a great week for my music. First I get featured at Tara Busch’s Analog Suicide Free MP3 Monday. And yesterday I got an email from FilterMagazine that I have been chosen by James Yuill himself as the winner of the ‘No Pins Allowed’ remix contest. What an honour! If you don’t know the original it is a poppy, dancy, electro track. My remix continued on that and I made a full blown dance remix for it.

AnalogSuicide is Analog Synths & Music from the world of Tara Busch. Through Twitter Tara invited producers to send in music for her Free MP3 Monday. And….! So did I. My track ‘Pond of Regrets‘ has been chosen to be featured in part six of Free MP3 Monday on her blog!
