Artificial free form created from totally scratch, … nothing. Again another excercise in lighting techniques and materials. The metallic form is 100% created within photoshop.

Nothing beats the analog sound of good old vinyl records. This is just a tribute to this medium and a photoshop excercise to create artificial lighting and … stuff.

Here is another example of amazingly beautiful art from Robert Hodgin a.k.a. flight404. He is a master in visual programming with processing. A piece he made on the music of Trentemoller, which makes me just happy and fuzzy and warm inside. In other words… I LOVE THIS!

Another visual piece that, to me, is very inspirational and just plain really cool to watch. It is from Richard Lainhart. The colors are just amazing and the way he created it is very cool. I am kinda … jealous.
Description: “An abstract HD film animated in After Effects. The soundtrack, “The Beautiful Blue Sky”, is a realtime electronic synthesizer improvisation for Buchla 200e and Haken Continuum.”

I had this piece lying around for a couple of months now. I didn’t really know for myself if it’s finished or not. Well, … no use in keeping it on my computer, so I decided to release it to the World. Yes, … to you!
It is another photomanipulation piece. I used another free image from Istockphoto. I tried to give it a surrealistic feeling. Hope you like it.

Processing is a mathematical way of generating art. Well kinda. According to the Processing website it is: “… an open source programming language and environment for people who want to program images, animation, and interactions. It is used by students, artists, designers, researchers, and hobbyists for learning, prototyping, and production. It is created to teach fundamentals of computer programming within a visual context and to serve as a software sketchbook and professional production tool. Processing is developed by artists and designers as an alternative to proprietary software tools in the same domain.”
One of the, in my opinion, best artists/programmers is Robert Hodgin. He creates amazing and just plain wonderful projects with processing. It would be too confusing if I would try to explain processing to you. Just check out the blog of Robert (flight404) and see for yourself what processing can do.
The video below is Robert’s latest work. It is amazing. I LOVE IT!
