I just finished my entry into the Röyskopp – Tricky Tricky remix contest. I really enjoyed this one, as I enjoyed the James Yuill remix. It is very cool to have the opportunity to work with high quality vocals.

I have mentioned before that Twitter is like a big pool of unlimited information. Many people share their like and dislikes on so many subjects. My personal favorit is when people share their love for music. I LOVE music. For me it is exciting to find new artists recommended by other Twitter members. So here are (again) several music tips that I really enjoyed. Maybe you will too!?

Yes, yes. This turns out to be a great week for my music. First I get featured at Tara Busch’s Analog Suicide Free MP3 Monday. And yesterday I got an email from FilterMagazine that I have been chosen by James Yuill himself as the winner of the ‘No Pins Allowed’ remix contest. What an honour! If you don’t know the original it is a poppy, dancy, electro track. My remix continued on that and I made a full blown dance remix for it.

AnalogSuicide is Analog Synths & Music from the world of Tara Busch. Through Twitter Tara invited producers to send in music for her Free MP3 Monday. And….! So did I. My track ‘Pond of Regrets‘ has been chosen to be featured in part six of Free MP3 Monday on her blog!

Through Twitter I found the great music by Team9, a music project from down under. Their album “We Don’t Disco” is a free download at their website. Four tracks of that album are available for remixing. I immediately fell in love with “As We Travel”. A very nice lounge track with great female vocals. As soon as I listened to this track I knew I had to give it a try and make my own version.

However, at this moment it is mainly remixing cool tracks. I just finished a remix for the James Yuill remix contest of ‘No Pins Allowed‘. Lovely electro/dance track with a poppy, dancy remix from me.
Next up will be a track from a project from Down Under called Team9. They do all sorts of music from cool original material to awesome mashup mixes. I have chosen to (try) remix a track called ‘As We Travel‘ I just setup my project file in Cubase, so I will work on it in the coming weeks (months?). It is not a contest, just having fun on my side.
